The Cure for Pride & Self-Pity

Be Empowered by Today's Nugget...PRIDE and SELF-PITY are two ungodly spirits that oppose each other. Pride compares itself to those who have LESS by saying things like, "That guy should just go get a job instead of begging on the corner!" Self-Pity compares itself to those who have MORE by saying something like, "I wish I could live in a big house like so and so." Pride EXALTS itself while Self-Pity DEMEANS itself.
