First of all, a good name is more valuable than money because it will many times, open doors your check book can't. Have you ever been able to tell someone who was looking for a job to give YOUR name as a reference? While you couldn't afford to hire them yourself, your "good" name helped them get hired! A good name comes from things like keeping your WORD at all cost, being consistent, treating people well, thoughtfulness, integrity, and respect for self and others. It also opens the door to receiving God's favor which again, allows you to leave your check book at home. Favor can cause someone to buy you a car with CASH, rather than you having to get a car note!
