First of all, a good name is more valuable than money because it will many times, open doors your check book can't. Have you ever been able to tell someone who was looking for a job to give YOUR name as a reference? While you couldn't afford to hire them yourself, your "good" name helped them get hired! A good name comes from things like keeping your WORD at all cost, being consistent, treating people well, thoughtfulness, integrity, and respect for self and others. It also opens the door to receiving God's favor which again, allows you to leave your check book at home. Favor can cause someone to buy you a car with CASH, rather than you having to get a car note! The Principle of Giving and Receiving

Have you ever offered to pay for someone's meal, only to hear the same thing? It seems that many people who are "givers," struggle with being "receivers." But, Luke 6:38 reminds us to "Give and IT shall be given unto you, with good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall men give unto your bosom." GIVING is a biblical principle that works ONLY if the giver participates, by being willing to receive the harvest, HOWEVER and WHENEVER God decides to send a return. GPS...God Planned System

Whenever I use it to get somewhere I've never been, it gives me great confidence that I will get there with no problems. But, I discovered that sometimes you can still have issues or get delayed  because it chooses to "take you the long route." But once you reach your destination, the voice inside the GPS is programmed to say three soothing words..."YOU HAVE ARRIVED!" So it is with a spiritual GPS...God Planned System. Jer. 29:11 says, "For I know the PLANS I have for you, declares the Lord,  I have PLANS to prosper you, not to harm you and PLANS to give you hope and a future." Satan is a Crack Addict

Be Empowered by Dr. B's Daily Nugget...Satan is the world's biggest "crack addict" because he is addicted to constantly finding "cracks" in our soul to keep us distressed, distracted and discouraged about SOMETHING. But according to Luke 10:19, we've been given "power over all the power of the enemy and NOTHING shall by any means harm us." As the "father of lies," that's exactly what Satan does EVERYDAY...sends LIES to torment us with worry, fear, doubt and anxiety! BUT, as a child of God, remember that you have the POWER to quench these lies before they take root! There are three weapons that will stop Satan in his tracks!...the Blood of Jesus, the name Jesus and the Word of God! Rooted and Grounded in God's Love

Reasons such as having been abused or mistreated by parents or others and shame or guilt from past sins can cause an inability to "believe and receive" God's love. But, Romans 8:39 declares, "NOTHING will ever separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus...not your past, present or future!" NOBODY, not even YOU, can change God's opinion of you! He says in Jer. 31:3. "I have loved you with an everlasting love." The key to being WHOLE is believing this next statement: "My IDENTITY and my SECURITY is deeply ROOTED and GROUNDED in GOD'S LOVE for ME!"   Only God's love has the power to give you true ACCEPTANCE and WORTH, no matter what has happened in your life.  So, in the words of Telly Savalas, from the TV show Kojack..."Who loves you baby?" #wholovesyoubaby, #drb'sdailynugget 

The Heart of the Matter

Be Empowered by Dr. B's Daily Nugget.,.Eight months and 27 days! That's how long I went without a vehicle because of an incompetent, deceptive and heartless mechanic who destroyed my car. I was angry and hurt that he had no remorse for causing irreparable damage. During this ordeal I started declaring daily, "I am receiving my supernaturally debt-free new vehicle in JESUS name!" Meanwhile, my heart was convicted to let go of the anger and resentment I had toward this mechanic. I finally obeyed and God truly cleansed my heart. Recently, after nearly nine months, DELIVERANCE came, just like the birth of a baby! I was blessed with what I confessed...a supernaturally debt-free "new" car! Fraternal Twins...Grace and Mercy

When your rent is due TODAY by 5pm and you're short $200, GRACE has a way of showing up at about 4pm to say "God just put it on my heart to drop off $200 to you." The Cure for Pride & Self-Pity

Success vs. Greatness

Be Empowered by Today's Nugget....A deceptively dangerous word is OFFENDED. It means being resentful, hurt, upset, irritated or aggrieved as a result of feeling insulted. Do you know someone who is easily offended? Some people even take pride in being offended with statements like, "One thing that offends me is...!" This is  a cheap trick of the enemy to "steal, kill and destroy" peace, joy and most of, relationships! Psalm 119:165 declares, "Great peace have they which love thy law (God's Word) and NOTHING shall offend them." Courage is a Beautiful Thing

If so, just take hold of the PROMISE of God's Word in Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Some are offended by the Cross and are now quietly, yet fervently pushing to have Crosses removed from public places. However, I believe those who reject it are the very ones who need it the most! Put Some "Honey" in Your Tone

Are Your Employed or Unemployed?

But, here's my question...Are your angels EMPLOYED or UNEMPLOYED? Psalm 103:20 reminds us that angels are released from heaven to work for you whenever they hear you "speaking life" by declaring the promises of God out of your mouth! This is how you "employ" them. Speaking doubt, fear, worry, etc. not only keeps your angels "unemployed" but instead, releases demonic forces to work against you. So, WATCH YOUR WORDS! Bouncing Back from Disappointment

That's what  disappointment is ...the feeling of sadness or displeasure when something you were excited about or hoping for does not happen. Well, on yesterday, I experienced a big disappointment and all the feelings that come with it. Then I was reminded of a powerful sermon I recently heard on RESILIENCE, " the ability to bounce back."
