Rooted and Grounded in God's Love

Be Empowered by Dr. B's Daily Nugget...In my counseling practice I have encountered many people who struggle with believing that God  loves them. Reasons such as having been abused or mistreated by parents or others and shame or guilt from past sins can cause an inability to "believe and receive" God's love. But, Romans 8:39 declares, "NOTHING will ever separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus...not your past, present or future!" NOBODY, not even YOU, can change God's opinion of you! He says in Jer. 31:3. "I have loved you with an everlasting love." The key to being WHOLE is believing this next statement: "My IDENTITY and my SECURITY is deeply ROOTED and GROUNDED in GOD'S LOVE for ME!"   Only God's love has the power to give you true ACCEPTANCE and WORTH, no matter what has happened in your life.  So, in the words of Telly Savalas, from the TV show Kojack..."Who loves you baby?" #wholovesyoubaby, #drb'sdailynugget
